I love GMail, man. I hardly ever use it, and I really only got it in the first place to nab femgeek as a username before anyone else grabbed it, and to have a reliable backup in case of emergencies, but it's also a very handy way of transferring large files/folders from my home computer to work, and vice-versa.
(Side note: the Google ads on my spam folder are hilarious. "Spam breakfast burritos," people!)
Anyway, this means I can now start working on a layout rehaul and website update, should I so choose. Except I'm uninspired as far as layouts go, right now, possibly because it's been, er, two years since the last one. *cough* Anyone have any ideas they wanna lob at me? I don't like doing layouts with people/fandoms in them (although, maybe I'll do another Dylan one ...), so maybe another seasonal one? Keeping in mind of course that the layouts for my JL and my website tend to be the same, or at least similar, so it has to be something I can stand looking at for hours each day.
To Do List, for my own reference:
- Layout rehaul;
- Website update;
- Transfer old knitting/crafts posts to
craftybrain;
- Actually start using
craftybrain, with tags and some sort of coherent system and ... stuff;
- Once ITRW is back from beta, actually post said website update/layout rehaul;
- Housework stuff;
- Find a writing schedule I can stick to, and then stick to it;
- Organise my yarn;
- Sort out e-mail and other computer stuff;
- [ETA] Make more icons, make better versions of old icons;
- Find a way to keep track of plot bunnies and the like.[/ETA]
Just watch, I'll post this and then think of a dozen other things.
