We've finally got the officiale dates that the lines will be closed, so I put in a bunch of holiday requests. My poor manager blinked at me like I'd grown a second head. Apparently, I'm the first person to put in for any time off as far as August, let alone for Christmas. :D Anyway, apart from Easter Monday (the only day apart from christmas when all three of m,y lines are closed, and which I therefore must take off), I've also taken a long weekend for the second weekend in August, when I'll be going home, as well as, obviously, my birthday.

I've also gone ahead and booked time off for connotations in October, in the hopes that I'll have enough money saved up by then to be able to go. I plan to hang out with assorted people (katemonkey!) and pimp somefandoms, most notably Space: Above and Beyond.

And then, because they want us to take 25% of our vacation timein the first three months of the year, I took Monday and Tuesday off, and another Thursday and Friday fist week of March, and, obviously, the three days my mum will be here the last week of March. Wheeee time off! :D

Which reminds me, att. Londoners! I want to come over and visit your lovely city at some point this year, as well. Which ones of you are in London, and when would be a good time for me to come crash on your couch for a few days? I'm housebroken, polite, and I'll talk your ear off about anything and everything. Also, as long as I get to go Camden for a few hours at some point, you can pretty much boss me around all you want. :D

cambridge is a 45 minute jaunt from King's Cross (usually platform 9, as it happens) and KC is very near Camden. ;)
