Dear Diary,

Today, I had my first candy cane. It was not nice. (Peppermint?) Which is probably a good thing, because the damned things are currently hung up all over my house, and if I did like them it'd be too much of a temptation.

But still!

They have fruity ones, but they're usually not red and white. They're pink or blue or something else that isn't traditional peppermint colors.
