So. Went to see that movie about that wizard kid, and um. Yes. First reaction: "CEDRIC! NEVILLE! HARRY! *flail*"
More in-depth reactions, though that's all relative with me, of course: Loved loved loved Cedric and the utter hero-worship-crush Harry has on him and Cedric so encourages it, man. I'm just saying. Cedric/Harry part of the fandom go boom now, yes? And then he up and died, the little bastard, and his death itself was too quick for me to "feel", but then Harry started wailing over his body, and then Amos started wailing, which was when I, er, kinda lost it too and I may or may not have sniffled about it. Bastards.
Also squee-inducing: Cho and her Glaswegian accent, Hermione and Viktor, Ron's hero-worship-crush on Krum, and Draco sitting in a tree (.... I'm not gonna say it, dammit!) Speaking of whom, I'm kinda pissed off that they left out my favourite scene from that book, at the World Cup, but on the other hand, whatever the boy was wearing during his little run-in with the Weasleys and the Trio was doing bad enough things to my brain without seeing him in it again. Yes.
And Neville. Neville with the dancing and the angst and the smart and did I mention the dancing? And the staggering into the room late after same? And the adorable? And that if the Harry/Neville part of the fandom doesn't have its own little explosion after this movie, I'm going to pout mightily?
Things I missed, apart from aforementioned favourite scene, include first and foremost the Percy subplot. I don't know if it's because they're not planning to bring up that subplot in movie five, or if they're just not bothering setting it up in this movie, but dammit, I liked that subplot! And to make matters worse, despite straining to scan the crowds in every scene with more than a handful of Gryffindors, I did't spot My Boy even once. I am a displeased Melle!
But only slightly displeased. Because Cedric! Harry! Neville! *flail*

So okay, he didn't say anything, and he was only part of the students and all, but he was there *squee!*
There's a lot they left out of the book that I think is a pity (especially the Percy-plot), but I left the cinema with a good feeling about it.
I liked it and now I've got to go and see the English version :)

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed withsome of the things they left out, but overall I really liked it, and I can understand tht they couldn't put in everything from the book. It's one of the better movies, I'd say.

Actually he became my boy after I started to play him in RPG's. At first I thought he wasn't in PoA (which I only saw twice in cinema) and I was highly disappointed by that, but -to make a long story short- the little actor's bio said he was in PoA, so I went to rent the DVD and sure enough, he's here! One of the crowd, but all there... and of course he has grown, that's why I missed him earlier. However at GoF, I knew who and what to look for and he's there as well ^_^ Again one of the crowd, but he's there, so I'm happy :)
I'm still not sure if I should be angry at the filmcompany or not, for leaving Dennis and his "I fell in the lake!" part out of the movie... Oh well, I'll live ^_-
Who's your boy?

Aaah, I know all about that. :D Well, I liked Lee before I started playing him, but once I did, my love pretty much exploded. (To the point where I blame him for my having had dreadlocks for two years, so um. Yes.)
Who's your boy?
See above, Lee Jordan, Quidditch commentator extraordinaire. I just hope they'll leave his bit in OotP. I want to see him with his hand bleeding because of That Bitch Umbridge. (I know, I'm weird. But he does suffer ever so prettily!)
