Ginger, if you have any, prevents nausea and vomiting, and is also calming after you've vomited. If I have fresh ginger I cook it in some water for about 15 minutes and then I drink the water. If I don't have fresh, I just boil water and add some ground dried ginger and let it rest for a while and then drink.
