I'm having a conversation over IM with the guy who does our database system, and over the course of five minutes I've just used the word "ticky box" seven times. TICKY BOOOOOX! Wheeee! (Oh, hush, I'm frustrated and cranky, I need some cheering up.)

Plans for today: finish the Scarf of Christmas Past Vomited Back Up, skein and sort all the wool I have so it's easier to store, wind balls for the first Gryffindor scarf.

In other news, some of you may remember that back in 2002, I ran an HP Sercet Santa thing called Mistletoe Magic. Due to laziness and time restraints, I haven't done it the last two years, but now babyofthegroup has been dropping hints, and I'm considering reviving it.

Sorry, no ticky boxes this time.

Well, I can't be a pitch hitter, as I'm horrible at writing stuff at-the-last-moment, but I can guarantee that if I do end up participating, I won't be one of those who fail out. :)

I think last time I put a minimum of about 500 words on the fics, just making sure people weren't turning in drabbles, you know? I might up the minimum to 1,000 words this time, but I'll see.

HP isn't my main fandom, but I can, under pressure, usually whip up something cute and pretty, as I think you know. I even have Goblet of Fire in my possession for character references, and I am caught up on all the books.

I will pinch-hit, I will do it gladly. I will likely be VERY down to the wire because I'm working retail, and I may need you to edit, but you can count on me, as I hate disappointing people and I like being useful. ^^
