Oh, great, I'm going to have to have words with my co-workers about not sending me stupid forwards anymore, because now we've hit Urban Legends territory. *hits "reply all" and punts people to Snopes* gah! (Oh, and now I have to "get a grip" and "grow a sense of humour." Right, because I'm the idiot. *eyeroll*
It's ten to twelve and I've just made my daily quota for successful outbound calls. Now, do I do the right thing and keep calling, or do I slack off and concentrate on knitting and stuff? *dillemns*
Triangular Scarf/Shawl
For: Myself.
Pattern: This one, the stockinette version.
Colours: Assorted leftovers, like here, with dark red as the uniting colour

Again with the adjustments of the final goal. Oh, and, proving once again I should not be allowed to pick out colours on my own, this thing looks like Christmas threw up on it. I kinda like it, though. It'll be my crazy-lady-writer-shawl. I may embroider my initials on it, even. And hey, it'll be warm!
Gryffindor scarves will be started once this is done. I was going to put this aside and start the scarves, but I have to skin/ball the yarn for the scarves first, and I'd rather do that once gran is gone, and by then I'll likely be nearly finished with this, anyway.
I'm not going to do the gloves at work, because double-pointed is hard enough without distractions, and I don't know how well that'd transport anyway. Still trying to figure out what to do with the rest of the yarn, as well.

DING DING DING! We have a winner!
I'm hoping at least today's little snarl will stop them including me in their stupid forwards. I swear, they're great people, but they don't seem to understand that ten years on the internet have made me a grouch and that these forwards are NOT FUCKING FUNNY!
