Oh, I don't know about that... ever heard anything by Rammstein? Or Placebo? Pretty slashy stuff there.... if you understand French by any chance, you'll see what I mean:

Yep, I know Rammstein and Placebo and I've heard that song. But see, those may be sexy-slashy, but Backstreets is romantic-sweet-slashy.
