Egg in a hat! So I was knitting this mini version of a beany hat to try out a patter, and then when it was done I realised it was about egg-sized, and um. Yes. I'll be over in the corner now.

See, I've tried crocheting, and every time I try and do just a simple square for practice I end up with something looking like a teapot (no, seriously!). So I just knit instead. :D

Not really a pattern, no. I use this stitch, casting on (I think) about 37 stitches, and the panels on mine are 24 rows. Mine is about 14 panels total, I think, but I tend to kinda play it by ear.
