I'm not at all familiar with the show. Everything I know about it I got from that fic and some minor research I did. Familiarity is not required to mock a thing. In fact, it can just get in the way. *grins*

Chad had (has?) an icon from that show, and when it showed up, I was all "???" When he told me it was from The Tribe, I went and looked for, you know, screencaps and such. There's certainly a lot of cute guys on there -- sort of like the Power Rangers franchise in that -- but I didn't dare download any episodes, for fear of running screaming in the other direction.

Oh, god, yes. It's sadly typical of rare/small fandoms and pairings. And I always read it anyway. You should see me scrounging ff.net for Lee Jordan fanfic.
