So that leak I was talking about a few days back? It's probable not in the bathroom. It's in the kitchen. *headdesk* Which is better than the bathroom, actually, because I can live on microwave dinners for a while, but living without a shower or bath would be much more difficult. still sucks, though. Council type bloke will be checking things out this morning with my landlady1, so we'll see what's happening.

1 Who is always very surprised that I have no problem with workmen being in the house, either with her or her hubby or brother present, or even without. Either that or she's miffed that I never volunteer to stay in for these things, which, tough luck. I don' have the vacation time to spend on these things, thanks.

Thanks. I'm waiting to hear from my landlady and/or the coumcil bloke about the extent of the damage, and if it's even on my side--the flat across the hall from me is mirrored against mine, and it may well be that one that's leaking, but. Yeah.

Why on earth did I pick that icon? *puzzles briefly*

Hope it turns out not to be yours.

We have no kitchen and won't for a month- but I wouldn't move in till we had a shower. No washing is unbearable. You can't order a takeaway of that.

Good luck though...

Exactly. I can live on nukable dinners and chips for a while, but a day or two without a shower or bath--ugh!

Aww. That's really sucky. But the kitchen is better, you can do some dishes in the bathroom if you have to. :)
