I'm coming down with a fever, I think. I foresee a sick day tomorrow. and a big rant at the airco system in this building. Bah.

I wish I was sick.
No seriously, I feel like hell, psychologically, at work, but do I actually have a sore throat, an aching back (well, that I do have... but not bad enough), fever, anything?
NO.
Bastards.

You should make a complaint. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to keep the temperature below a certain level in the workplace.

I suspect they're technically above the minimum temperature, but yeah, I'm going to make a point of noting that I haven't been ill pretty much at all while we were in the other building, where the airco was warmer, and I'm back in there barely what? Five weeks? And bam. It's really the temperature differences as much as anything, but I'm definitely going to try and push this as far as I can. (Thankfully, my immediate supervisor is behind me on this.)

The thing is, of course, that I'm far from the only person to complain about this, and I'm starting to believe they're actually half-serious about that whole "we like to keep you awake" nonsense--otherwise how does it make sense to spend more money keeping the airco consistently so low literally everyone complains about it?

And if complaining doesn't work, I'll start wearing a scarf and gloves and a hat at work. That ought to get the point across, heh.
