I took my knitting to work today, on the premise that I might as well be doing something productive, and if I ever want to get this damn thing (a Slytherin scarf for my brother) finished, I shouldn't just work on it at home. I did a full panel today, and I only knitted in the afternoon. Yay!

Now, I need to decide what to do next.

[Poll #559480]

Or maybe I should do some other craftsy thing ...

Socks are not easy! Socks are like, the second hardest thing to knit! Hats and gloves are muuuch easier. :)

Really? I was told that gloves are really difficult. Although, mine would be finerless gloves, which may make a difference. But I think I may start with a hat, and then a pair of gloves, if I still have yarn left over from my Ravenclaw scarf.

... And then i might start all three over again with high-quality yarn, heh.

Well, hats are easier than gloves. Fingerless gloves aren't as hard as regular gloves because you don't have to make the fingers, you're really just making holes for your fingers.

Well "fingerless" as in "hobo gloves" I believe the word is. Most of the patterns I've found look hopelessly complicated. O_O

She lies! :D Socks only *look* hard. I just finished my first pair, and the trick is to ignore how weird and wrong the instructions sound and just do what they say.

But gloves are good, too. Heh.

It's looking like the Ravenclaw hat first, but after that, perhaps I'll try a pair of long, multi-coloured stripey socks. :D
