My ear hurts. Ow. Am ill and pathetic and need comfort, woe!

Oh, and some Big Brother-related babbling: I actually had [livejournal.com profile] tamsin_h text me as soon as she knew who was getting evicted, as I was waiting in line at the time. Um. Not that I'm obsessed or anything. Was sorely disappointed that Vanessa was the one to get evicted, although I did predict that if the housemates had to choose in front of everyone, they'd never pick Mkosi. They're too scared of her--hell, I'd be!

Eugene continues to be utterly adorable and geeky. I love him. LOVE!

Fweee!

(So? Doesn't mean he can't have a bit of fun with The Doofus Who Lived.)

Bwah! Okay, point. Oh! You read the part where they went to F&G's shop, right?

JKR read that part out to a small group of children (and TV cameras) at midnight. In the Great Hall of the castle.

Her publishers must've spent an absolute fortune hiring out, basically, the entire castle for a night.

Indeed. The result of which seemed to be a total lack of anything happening in the actual bookstores,. I started queueing just before eleven, and I was barely 15th or so in line. Or was I just at the wrong bookstore? (On the upside, there were only a handful of children, but then again there were half a dozen screechy pre-teens I wanted to dropkick into traffic. And, of course, idiotic outsiders. "Are you all queueing for the HP book?" No, we just kind of randomly all got an irrisistable urge to go bookshopping AT MIDNIGHT! For fuck's sake.)

All the small obnoxious children appeared to have been rounded up and put in the stands they use for the Tattoo. Unfortunately, no one followed through by blowing them up.

Pity. ;o)

Snarf! I got into a discussion with some people in line, and after confessing I'd not pre-ordered and was worried about getting a copy, they advised me, if worse came to worse, to just mug a random child.

I love HP fans. :D

Or find some nerdy adolescent boy, flash him, and while he's stunned, steal his copy?

Or mount a full-on assault of the castle, since the armed guard are probably still off in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There was a suprising lack of nerde adolescent boys. There were a bunch of neddish adolescent boys trying to mock us, but thwe girl behind me shot back "At least we can read!" and they didn't have much of a come-back to that.

I was too lazy to go all the way to the Castle. Instant gratification, now! :D

Yep! When they dragged him off to the dark private back room? Heh.

And on Chapter 15, and think Harry is being quite the good girlfriend to Hermione.

Yep! When they dragged him off to the dark private back room? Heh.

Yes! With the weapons they're providing, which is just feeding my ancient HP Cyberpunk AU bunny and *flail*!

And on Chapter 15, and think Harry is being quite the good girlfriend to Hermione.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I think that deserves to be [livejournal.com profile] metaquotesed.

Yay cyberpunk!

Heee! Aw, thanks. And he really is! *pets him* He'll be doing her toenails for her in no time.

*gives the AU a cookie*

He'd probably be good at it, hand-eye coordination and all that. :D

BAD AU! *flails* (The twins as high-tech arms dealers! How sexy is that image?)

I was watching Big Brother, and there was some random scene of something that I really can't remember - and I remarked to E that 'Melle's neighbours will be complaining again as she squees over that'. ;o)

Mind you, having watched Big Brother Live for a while last night/this morning while trying to stay awake, I pretty much just want to gas them all.

Even Eugene? He's adorable! And I didn't manage to catch a lot of BB this weekend, because of obvious reasons, so I probably missed any slashiness. Boo!

Well, I think he (and the women) were asleep. But the rest were just bitching and shouting at each other. Eventually I just turned it off.

From: [identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com

The women (the two that are left) are actually the worst. They were having a screaming bitchfest earlier, that I saw, and I really did want to just go in there and boot them in the head at that point.

Like I said: gas them all. Last one standing wins the money.
