So, how long has your oldest LN character been around?
Lee's LJ was created on 1 July 2002, and last updated on 14 December 2003. Wow. That's ... a long-ass time ago.
Was your character different in the beginning? How?
Ahahahahahah! Oh, god. Let's see, Lee was supposed to be straight, and not get attached or even actually have sex, just a big flirt with every girl in the game. Oh yeah, we all know how long that resolution lasted. Snarf. Harry stayed pretty much the same throughout the game, as did Ilyssa, though.
Are you ashamed of anything you had your character do/say in those early days?
Not really, no. But then, I may be misguided about not feeling shame.
Before you created your first LN character, did you lurk?
Not really, actually. There wasn't a whole lot of lurking to be done, sine I jumped in way early.Has your writing improved since LN?
In general, or RP writing in specific? Well, yes to both, I suppose.
How many LN characters have you played?
Three. Lee Jordan, Harry Potter, and Professor Ilyssa Vector.
Have you ever had a character die?
Thankfully, no. I think I'd have had to take a week off work if that'd happened.
Have you ever had to give up a character?
Had to, not really, but I gave Harry up to someone else when I stopped having time to play him properly, and I kinda just stopped playing Lee and Ilyssa at some point because of time.
Were any of your characters straight?
Lee was supposed to be, but turned out to be bi, or at least straight-with-one-notable-exception. Ilyssa was bi with a slight leaning towards girls, and Harry was bi.
Have any of your characters ever ...
... killed? Nope.
... loved? Oh, yes, all three of them, actually.
... lied? I'm pretty sure they all did at one point or another, yeah.
... died? No, thank fuck.
... been brought back to life? Er, no. A good thing, too, as I wouldn't have liked to have to play a zombie, heh.
... used any of the forbidden curses? I played two Gryffindors and a Ravenclaw. What do you think?
... graduated from Hogwarts? Nope. Lee was already graduated when the game began, Ilyssa was a teacher, and Harry didn't graduate until after I gave him up.
... been raped? *shudder* No. I don't think I'd have been capable of actually RPing that.
... raped? No, and ditto.
... blackmailed another? Heh. Again, Gryffindors. Ilyssa may have semi-blackmailed Bill at some point, but only in good fun.
... passed out drunk? Not explicitly, I don't think.
... given birth? Ew, no.
... had children? Ew, no.
... been married? No, though Lee and George may as well have been. (Dude, Dae? I still have that ring that I found that looked exactly like the one Lee got George.)
... been blindfolded? Not explicitly, though, again, Ilyssa probably was at some point.
... been skinnydipping? See above.
Do any of your characters have a romantic backstory with any of the following:
Harry Potter? Ahahaha! God, no. That wouldn't been utterly disturbing, it would. I mean, unless masturbation counts, obviously.
Hagrid? No. Just. No.
The squid? Not while I was playing them, though what happened to poor Harry before I took him on, I don't know for sure.
Filch? Ewwwwwwno.
Dumbledore? Again, ewwwwwwwno.
Voldemort? Again, not that I know of. *eyes Harry questioningly*
Snape? Okay, the Gryffindors just went and hid under my bed in fear, and Ilyssa is laughing her head off. I'll take that as a no.
Tybalt? Nope.
Were any of your characters ever in bed with Tom Riddle?
No. Again, Gryffindors, and Ilyssa would have killed herself before that happaned.
If not, did they ever meet him/talk to him?
No, for the same reasons. Well, Harry obviously met him in canon, and possibly before I took him on, but not while I played him.

... the ultimate LN!OTP? I ... Lee/George. I know, I know, Marcus/Oliver 4EVAH, but my boys are still precious to me, dammit. Sniffle.
... the most interesting character? I really adored Marcus. I just. LOVE!
... the most disturbing couple? Harry/Narcissa. Which was thankfully before my time, because woa.
... the weirdest thing you ever RPed? Way early in the game, I RPed an actual conversation between Lee and Marcus. That was ... weird.
... the saddest thing you ever RPed? The conversation between Lee and George after George cheated on my boy with Ron. God, I was practically crying for real.
... your favourite character? Penny! A lone straight girls in a sea of queerness, but I did adore her and her harem of gay boys. (Hee.) Besides, she liked Lee. :D
... your least favourite character? Oooh, good question. I liked pretty much everyonem, even the bastards, because they were such fantastic bastards. I think if I had a least favourite, it was because s/he was so boring I've forgotten them now.
... your LN soundtrack? Hm. Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, Weetus's Teenaged Dirtbag, the Spice Girls's Wannabe, ... That's the main three, I think.

Yes.
What's your favourite LN memory?
Oh, dear god, there's so much to choose from. Starting of course with the total and utter eradication of my sense of time, between the living on US time for easy RPing and the celebrating of Christmas in October. Then there were the nights of yelling "PLATONIC!" at the screen with Jordan while our boys got unbelievably sappy and domestic without actually getting together. Rping het kissage(!)
Then there was the star of Draco and Harry, which Meryl and I planned to be all sarcastic and angry and which devolved into smut and sap pretty much instantly. The fun I had with Dae as we had two couples to RP, plus Ilyssa and Bill hanging out and being funny as all hell.
And of course the storylines I wasn't personally involved in, with the Love Squiggle, and and the whole Tom/Katie thing, and the actual plot-like happenings, and of course the ENDLESS NUMBER OF INJOKES and the torrent of RP-based drabbles I was inspired to write.
But really, in the end, I have to go with Tits for Terence. Because despite all the above, nothing beats the fact that a bunch of us posted our boobies online for the benefit of a gay RP character. Heee!

Thanks to LN, I cannot read Lee/twins anymore, let alone Lee/Fred, because my brain keeps going "But Fred is the straight one!" and "OMGWTFBBQ LEE JORDAN WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING CHEATING ON YOUR BOYFRIEND?" and then the nice men in the white coats come to take me away for a while.
