I've been working backwards through my LJ to tag my older entries. I just finished November of last year, and pretty soon I'm going to hit the point where I start getting ashamed of myself. Sigh. Also, four and a half yaers makes for a lot of LJ entries. Ow.

Does anyone know why I can't tagify my entries in [livejournal.com profile] mounthelicon? (A shared journal, if that makes a difference.)

Today, I will do something useful and productive. Preferably, the rewrite of the Hooker AU, after which I can update/redesign my website, and LJ, and make new icons to take advantage of my shiny permanent account. Right.

I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] amandazillah, so here's another meme:

List 5 reasons why you are a dork. And make them good reasons. Justify them. Explain them. Be loud and proud about how big of a dork you are! Then pick the 5 biggest dorks you know and have them do the meme.

  1. I have an unholy love for trashy movies. I loved Dungeons and Dragons, and I will basically watch just about any movie if it has eye candy, things going boom, swords, or any combination of the above.
  2. I sing and dance along to music even when I'm more or less in public.
  3. I love algebra. I used to do algebra excercises for fun and relaxation.
  4. I get actual, almost physical joy out of seeing fictional characters be all cute and adorable in canon.
  5. The only reason my socks aren't sorted by colour is that they're all black.

I tag: [livejournal.com profile] ruby_fruit, [livejournal.com profile] amatia, [livejournal.com profile] elance, [livejournal.com profile] ronwheezely, and [livejournal.com profile] carelessmemory.

Conversation a co-worker just related to me:

Caller: "I live on Shakespeare Street."
Co-worker: "Oh, as in William Shakespeare?"
Caller: "No, it's in Birmingham."
Co-worker: *facepalm*

Is it S1?

Nope, 's the exact same layout as my main LJ and everything. I can add tags if I go to the "manage tags" page and switch to working as [livejournal.com profile] mounthelicon, but I can't seem to get permission to actuall tag entries. Highly annoying. *pokes it with a stick*

Me too. When I was nine and had to go into hospital for a minor surgery, my dad kept me from being nervous in the waiting room by making up quadratic equations for me to solve.

Also, sometimes I can't believe people can possibly be that dumb without being scripted -- but then I remember when I worked in customer service.

At least that could be a temporary brainfart, unlike the people I'd get when I worked the retail line, who put a diaper on their baby, put the kid down to sleep for twelve hours, and then wondered why the diaper leaked. Haaaate!

AHAHAHAHAHA!

What? It's true! If I had any coloured socks, I'd sort them all by colour into a rainbow!

I love Dungeons and Dragons the movie. :D It's, like, the B movie of the century, but I love it.

It's good for my head too, because they all get to see [livejournal.com profile] luck_and_fate eaten by a dragon. It does wonders for morale.

And overacting. Don't forget his gleeful overacting, and the slashiness between the two main characters. LOVE! Mmmm, trash.
