Guess who forgot to call home to wish her brother a happy birthday yesterday? *facepalm*

[ETA] Which means I also missed [livejournal.com profile] evadne_'s birthday, argh! Sorry, Ang! Happy belated birthday?[/ETA]

Side note of the day: Fake LJ-cuts in communities suck the big one. Grrr, I say!

if ever there was an occasion when someone should keep a job just to make an icon funnier, that was it.

Well, the job kinda went away without me, and I refuse to move to the Netherlands for even THAT much funneh.

I know! *sniff* Though at least now I no longer face the temptation of answering the phone with "Adobe customer service, my hed iz pastede on yay, can I help? :D"

(Then again, now I have to fight the temptation of quoting B5 left, right and center, so ...)

P&G (Well, same company, just different "departments" and thus support for different companies. Nothing B5-ish about that, just general annoyingness that makes me want to pick up the phone with a hearty "What do you want, you moon-faced assassin of joy?"

i had a job (which i actually liked a lot) in a big upscale supermarket last summer and on my last day i got into a fight with some woman whose child is one of VP cheney's staffers (i said it was kind of funny that she mentioned her DAUGHTER working for him because i guessed he wasn't on terms with his own [lesbian] daughter, which according to her wasn't true). she raised a stink at the service counter. in the end i was sad that i waited for my last day, because it turned out all the big bosses' sympathy was with me. one of managers was gay and everybody felt protective of him, i guess.

Aww, bless 'em. And at least yuo said something in the end! God knows I'm not even assertive enough to do that.

yeah, well, then i DID have a panic attack. a mild one. or maybe it was an adrenaline let-down or something.

funny to think a rude, dumpy republican mother is the closest i've ever come to a combat or crisis situation...

dude, the closest I've ever come is an annoying middle-aged racist twit. And I can't even tell the bastard off properly, either. Grr.

Oh my god, glad you mention it! My brother's birthday is today.. or tomorrow *checks calendar*. Tomorrow! Totally forgot about it..

Was your brother mad?? Or was he like mine would be: oh I don't mind; what did you get me??

From: [identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com

Eh, he knows I only buy presents at Christmas, so I don't think he's even cared (especially as he's at his "kot" right now anyway), but still! Bad sister!

Icon! Where did you create that? I've been looking for that icon creator for *months* and nobody seems to remember where it is.

From: [identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com

Icon creator is here. :D I memorify these kinds of things because I know I'll forget where I found them.
