Just because I'm mostly offline, doesn't mean I'm being all that productive. Right now, for example, I'm watching Extreme Archeology. Because I'm a big-ass dork. Hi!

[ETA] Now watching: Time Team Special, in which a bunch of people take apart an old house and then renovate and rebuild it, complete with "layers" of walls and decoration and even botched repairs done over the centuries (1300s through Victorian times) and OMG *GEEKGASM*

Um, yes. I have a massive hard-on love for this sort of thing. *eyedart* [/ETA]

I was going to watch that Time Team, but I thought it looked a bit dull compared to what they usually do.

And what will the Time Team team do if the guy with the scary sideburns/beard can't harass the old white-haired guy about putting in a new trench over the area with the 'interesting geophys'?

Madness!

I found it rather interesting, really, especially once they showed drawings and computer reconstructions of the "layers" of the house. And the bit about how they replicated even the botched repair jobes done ages ago.

See, I prefer the bits where they spend three days digging and come up with some broken bits of pottery, a cesspit, and a series of small walls.
