Randomly, I need a nice icon for when I get my brain (and guts) together enough to actually post about my faith and stuff like that. I rather like the "proud member of the religious left" ones I've seen about, but I prefer icons that are all me, and original. Hrm.
(I also kind of want one for "gender issues" posts.)
ONE: Pick 10 bands/musicians.
TWO: Post them and see who can guess which song of each band/musician's is your favorite.
THREE: Once someone guesses right, bold that row and include your favorite song.
- Bob Dylan - If You See Her, Say Hello (Guessed by
carelessmemory.) - U2 - One (Guessed by
rane_ab.) - Metallica
- *NSYNC - Space Cowboy (Guessed by
kkscatnip.) - Bob Marley - Redemption Song (Finally guessed by
wild_boys!) - The Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The UK (Guessed by
kroki_refur.) - Bruce Springsteen
- Johnny Cash
- The Ramones
- The Beatles
I had a hard time thinking of ten artists/bands, to be honest. I have this tendency to go for the one-hit wonders, apparently. Heh.

Ugh, OK, second try:
U2: Ummm. One. Or With Or Without You. I doubt that's it, but it's probably some song I don't even know...
Bob Marley: I Shot The Sheriff.
Bruce Springsteen: Born In The USA. Or Streets Of Philadelphia.
The Beatles: Eleanor Rigby.
OK, so I cheated twice, but they're prolly all wrong again, and I don't even know another song by *Nsync... *g*

Dingdinding! That one is, indeed correct. The others aren't, and I feel compelled to point out that the *Nsync son is called Bye Bye Bye (three byes, not two), but you did get that one. Congrats!

I realised that about two minutes after I'd posted it. *g* Hey, I impressed myself by remembering any at all. I used to really like that song, but I can't remember the last time I've heard it on the radio!
And since no one else got it, I'll wager another gamble:
Bruce Springsteen: The River.
The Beatles: Yellow Submarine (I'm so amused most people aren't even trying to guess this one. There are so many Beatles songs
and I can't think of a single good one right now, blast it!From:

heh. I'm a pretty obvious person, a lot of the time. ^_^
Bruce Springsteen: The River.
Nope, though in terms of general "feel"/theme, you're kinda close.
The Beatles: Yellow Submarine
Nope. Waaaaay off, there.

Heh. The only song I can think of is Dancing In The Dark, which is my favourite of his. But that'd be a bit too much of a coincidence. *g*
Nope. Waaaaay off, there.
Thank goodness. ;-) Unfortunately, I can only come up with stuff like She Loves You, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah and I Wanna Hold Your Hand right now. o_O

And I cheated with the Ramones, 'cause I looked them up on Google, but darn it, I knew there was a song of them that I knew, so: Have You Ever Seen The Rain?

Yeah, sorry, but not. I like that one a lot, but not the most. ^_^

Way too early Beatles, those. :D

Hm, how about a hint? 'Cause if it's on his latest CD, then I can give it up right now. :-/ The only album I've got is Born In The USA and I know only a very few songs outside of it.

You don't actually expect me to know any chronology about what they sang, do you? o_O I don't think I have so much as a single song by them on CD. (Much to my grief, but anyway.)
My next guess would be Hey, Jude, but I've no idea when that was a hit! :-)

Not very recent, and you really should know it ...
The difference between early and late Beatles should be obvious from the types of songs, really, but then I'm biased. And nope, not

I'm sure it is when you think about it. *g* I never did. I can hear the difference now that I think of it, but I'm sure the separation isn't all that clear...
Um. Strawberry Fields Forever?
