Snow is less yay when you have to stand and wait on a bus while it pelts you in the eyes.

This is all E's fault, BTW. She said something like 'if this is the worst that winter gets I'll be okay' yesterday.

*jealous* Though not when a) she needs to drive and b) when the snow gets all icky and dirty

Holy fuck. It has started to snow here, too. At first, it was just melting snow, but now it's starting to, er, stay put. They're quite thick flakes. There's only the faintest bit of wind and you can see the flakes getting carried away on tiny wind currents, just getting back up as soon as they hit the height of my window. It's fabulous. Can't even remember ever seeing this! It feels like Winter Wonderland. I've no idea what that actually is, but the name fits. :-) I hope it's the same in Scotland.

Um, it's quite a lot of snow, for the record. There's prolly more in Scotland, but for Belgium, this is just whoa.

Me: Looks outside frightened...

Backyard: Green green grass of home...

Me: Arh, what kind of Belgium do you live in ?

Me: ***pouts***

I live in the not-that-far-away-from-the-Ardens kind of Belgium, pretty much on the border between Liège, Limburg and the Netherlands. (OK, that's not that close, but we do regularly end up with the Ardens' weather.)

If it's any consolation, it all melted away within minutes of the end of the snowfall. How very, very sad!

It was like that here yesterday. You're probably getting the weather we had then. :o)

It doesn't snow that much in Scotland, either. :o)

Personally, I hate the snow. It's cold, wet, and slippery. Yes, it looks nice if you don't have to get near it, but when you have to actually go places it's just horrible.

But it crunches so nicely when you walk over it! And it looks so beautiful when it covers your coat! But it's a total, er, bitch when you actually have to get around by bike/car/other motor-thingies. It doesn't stay clean in cities very long, either. *g*

It's a bit too damp here to really get the 'crunch' with snow. We mostly get the 'slip and fall on your arse' kind of snow.

Great Icon, where did you get it and who's to credit if it happens to get borrowed by the likes of myself for example.

It's from [livejournal.com profile] nimori. :-) I'm too lazy to look up the exact post, but it can only be a few posts back, so it shouldn't be hard to find.
