I'm here to do my job, no to be social, and frankly, I'm in a foul mood, what with the election and the fact that my ovaries are trying to strangle my uterus or something. Grar. And for the love of fuck, tone it the fuck down, I'd like to hear the people I'm talking to, dammit!

Um, yeah, PMS + anger + sadness = not a good combination. I wish my period'd start already. Feh.

I'm hideously behind on NaNo, and if I don't catch my snap by Friday I'll never mae up for it. So yeah. Expect some banging my head against a wall soon.

Attempt at distraction: Let's make some plans! First of all, obviously, will be my birthday on 20 December, and I want to celebrate with people. E, John, I know it's a Monday, but would you two want to do something? Dinner (at a restaurant or at my place), out for a drink, whatever? Any other Edinburghers have a suggestion?

I'll be leaving for Belgium in the afternoon of the 21st, and I'll return around noon on the 30th, so Belgians, if you want to meet up, suggest a date. (Place of meeting would obviously be Antwerp.)

And New Year's, of course, will be celebrated over here as well, probably with copious amounts of alcohol. Somebody remind me to make a drunk phone post, yes?

Since I have an exam that day (I /think/), and so booze will probably sound good afterwards. :o)

Oooh, yes, exams are a good excuse for booze. Except when you have another one the day after, in which case booze is bad. So is getting home from a concert at four in the morning. (Why yes there is a reason why I only got 64% on my last history exam. :D)

I was thinking either the 20th, or the weekend before (18/19), whichever works best for people. And I have no idea what I want to go do, other than just hang out. I've not had a proper birthday celebration since I turned eighteen.

I made it to 68 points on the skilled-worker test (lower than it would have been had I arranged for a job in Canada). It's my mad language skillz (or, you know, not). First time French will ever have helped me :)

Now to secure a job up there, and I'll be good to go!

Oh oops. Just met up with Rane today and forgot to ask her! I'm a doofus. I'll send a test message to her tomorrow to ask if she wants to hook up in December, but I'm sure she'll be all for it. It'll be good to see you again!

I vaguely poked her about it a couple of days ago in a comment, and she said she's up for it, so you two just need to pick a date. Obviously, I'm fine any day I'm there, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. :)

Is that 21-30 thing November or December ? Guessing on the latter, Somewhere after christmas should fall in my work break, so erm... Some weekday lest we can catch a movie when we're tired of boring eachother... Or something... So, Monday the 27 we do lunch, you find some good veggie place that hasn't shut down since you left, after that, we'll see if we want to do something creative, productive, counter productive, ...

Also: Girl in short skirt ? Are you people having a heat wave or something ?
