That's hardly post-apocalyptic. There's a new series of 'Spooks' starting next week. I have series two on my computer, and one of the episodes deals with that sort of thing.
There's been a lot of discussion lately about it. If a dirty nuke went off, very few people would actually be killed. It's the ultimate in terror weapons, though. Lots of fear, very little actual damage.
