Hm. Given that I have a multi-region DVD player, and a Switch card, what would be a) the cheapest way and/or b) the quickest way to aqcuire the Babylon 5 DVDs?

Virgin megastore are twice as expensive as amazon, but I can't figure out why the latter has such big price differences between the seasons.

ETA: Argh! I don't have the money! But four seasons for £70! But I don't have the money! But that's less than £10/season! And it has Buy It Now so no danger of losing the bidding!

*curls up in a ball of whimper*

ETA2: Argh squared! Must resist temptation. (Must I?)

Even with the shipping costs it's still a lot, and this one has decent feedback from people, and I do plan to get my money back if it's a pirate version. (eBay are pretty good about this.)

Now if only I could find S5 for a decent price!

(I hate you, eBay. Damn you and your money-eating ways!)

Season Five hasn't been released in the UK yet, AFAIK. Season Four's only been out for a few months.

I'd suggest getting them from the US. Have them shipped to a friend, then forwarded to you - otherwise you risk getting to pay customs charges. If an individual is sending them to you, it's far more likely to get through without you getting a 6am call.

I can get S5 on amazon, but it's expensive, and it is the US edition. I may have a look at the US site (if nothing else, i have some of a gift voucher left there that i could use).

That'll be why it's expensive, then.

They're having to import it from the US.
