Am home. Have lots of thoughts and emotions, but more importantly a need for food. Expect long and rambling entry (as opposed to my usual short and rambly entries) later today. Or possibly tomorrow.

ETA: Ahahaha! Okay, I just spent fifteen minutes looking for the clicky=lighter-thingie for my stove. Could. Not. Find it.

It was in the fridge. *facepalm*

You're home from what? *thinks* Wait, was this your trip to Belgium? It can't have been very long, then...

Yep, and nope. <g> Left Friday morning, arrived Friday evening in Belgium, left there this morning. Basically, just time to catch up with the family, go to the big family gettogether on my dad's side (81 people, and that's all children (my aunts and uncles), grandchildren (my cousins) and great-grandchildren), and go out for a drink with my brothers.

Eh. Do you miss them much? 81 people... well, that's a lot of people! Thank goodness you had time for a drink with your brothers. It must have been pretty busy at that family get-together!

I never had all that much contact with that part of the family, especially their whole tendency to get married and have kids young. (My brothers and I noted that we were the only ones of the grandchildren who didn't bring their girlfriends to these things. Granted, that's partially because only the youngest has a girlfriend, but still.)

We went for a drink after we got home again, had an actual conversation, too. Realisation: we're all grownups now. (Well, in the case of the youngest one, a growing-up, but still.)

It's very strange when you realise when people have grown up. They're suddenly so different from before. But it's nice, too. :-)

Welkom terug !

I'll get back to you on this once I've got the computer.

Hotspots a-plenty hier! Inclusief in 't dichtsbijzijnde park! :D

Legal

I guess I'd have to read the eula for that. Why would they give a student three installs ? One for at home, one for the dorm and one for the classroom ? I'll get back to you on that one. If I, as a teacher (ahem, like if) can give it to two of my students (hah, as long as microsoft buys it, I'll find something to teach you) we're set.

Re: Legal

Hee! Sounds good. And I just wanted to point out that I don't mind semi-legality, but I do want to be able to get support if needed.

Gee

One day I was sure I had bought fresh cheese and it just went missing. I have gotten mice, but to steal an entire sealed box of cheese ? I told my parents when they came over, to look for it if they could find it anywhere, not that it would still be eatable, but I didn't want it wondering around in my home on its own. So dad found it, I placed it on top of the kitchen cabinets apparently. All green and moldy ofcourse, but at least it showed up.

Placing too much in the fridge is still better than placing not enough in the fridge.

Re: Gee

Ahahah! Luckily, I'm pretty good about food, thank god. But I frequently find things I'd thought I'd lost in odd places.
