So, yesterday I downloaded a handful of songs from the iTunes store, and iTunes told me I needed to update the iPod software before I could transfer the songs onto Sam. Okay, fine, I eventually locate this update for the software and install it, and now iTunes won't start up. At all. It'll appear in the "processes" tab of the Task Manager, but nothing else.

ARGH! Have I mentioned my all-consuming hatred for my piece of shit computer lately? I'm going to completely nuke the iTunes and iPod software installations and reinstall them, and see if that works. I just want to be able to listen to my songs, dammit!

God, I'll be glad when I get a new computer.

Don't nuke the music archive!

If you delete the songs you paid to download, you don't get to download them again without paying again.

I have no idea where iTunes stores its music on Windows, but find it, and save the songs. :o)

No, I can keep the songs, just uninstall iTunes and the iPod, and reinstall the whole thing so I can, you know, ACTUALLY GET THE FUCKING MUSIC ON MY IPOD. *KICKS the crap out of the electronic piece of crap masquerading as her computer*

Have I mentioned I can't wait to get a Mac?

Don't insult the 'puter! It generally doesn't take too well to it...

Frankly, the conmputer may bite me. It's never behaved even when I treated it nicely, so it's getting replaced with an iBook and RITUALLY CLEANSED of any influence Bill Gates may still have over it.
