Okay, when you start accusing inanimate objects of being in league with Satan, it's time to get out of the house, dishes or no dishes.

I'm NOT kidding!
It's a (mock) philospohy claiming that inanimate objects are hostile to humans.
Resistentialism is an artificial concoction of P. Jennings (who depicted the (mock) philosophy in the periodical The Spectator in 1948), using the Latin "res" (= thing) and the English verb "resist" laid over "existentialism".
Jennings may have gotten his idea from the Russian novel "Envy" by Yuri Olesha, whose main character (Nikolai Kavalerov) can't seem to avoid colliding with inanimate objects and is convinced they are conspiring to block his road to success.
