First of all, veux, there's some Hobbitfic recs over here for your perusal.

Secondly, some H/D recs for rane_ab:

Haeddu is the story I told you about on Sunday. I beta'ed this, so I'm kind of obligated to rec it ;) but it's a really good story, seriously. I think this was one of the stories I actually gave to my youngest brother to get him into slash.

Shalott's stories are also great, andmore on my reasons for thinking so is here.

There's a lot of decent H/D on this site, and there's a list of assorted, mainly H/D recs over here.

There's also some really good non-H/D recs here.

... and thank you very much for those recs! I meant only to reply when I'd actually read one of them, but somehow I haven't had the time yet (they are all pretty long -- not that I mind!). So, um, yeah, thanks. I'd be curious to see if I can actually enjoy H/D. (Though after mctabby's meme, H/D rather makes me think of Hagrid/Dumbledore... *ahem*)
