The Weasleys lose everything they have under Voldemort, so when the twins are babies, they share the crib their brothers slept in before them. It sets a theme, one that continues throughout the rest of their lives.
From then on, they share everything: their first steps are taken hand in hand, their first words spoken to each other. It seems only natural that they share their first kiss.
It happens during the last weekend before they're sent off to Hogwarts, on a lazy, late summer Sunday morning, and like all first kisses, it's clumsy and awkward, but still rather sweet.
