Stories:

1. Best Story I Think I've Written:
   I have a tendency to like whichever story I wrote last the best, but I do think Evitar is one of my best stories to date. The backstory has a whole lot of my Draco-theories in it, and I really like the characterisation of Harry and Draco, and their relationship. It's one of the few stories I've ever written where I really think I succeeded in putting into it everything I wanted to say about the characters.

2. Favorite Story of Mine:
   Well, as anyone who's talked to me about writing knows, I have a soft spot for Sin, because it was the first dark!story I've ever written, and I still really like the basic idea behind the story. As soon as I knew who and what all the characters would be like, I knew how it was going to end. The story's essentially about action and consequences, and fate, in a way, and I like that I managed to stick to that despite the mad urges to fix everything and plot be damned.

   Also, my War!Drabbles, which aren't technically a story, but I'm proud of them, and I really like what I did with most of them. So.

3. Most Under-rated Story of Mine:
   I'd say Evitar, which I think a lot of people won't read because it's gen, and most of the people I pimp my stories to are slashers. Possibly also Sin, which I think most people didn't read because of the crossover AU madness, and I understand, but I still feel sad.

4. Most Over-rated Story of Mine:
   Judging from the amount of comments at ff.net, Kisses In The Closet is hugely popular, and I Don't Get It. It's stupid and fluffy and OOC and blah, and yet people seem to adore it. WTF?

   Also, all my Metallica slash, which got a lot of feedback back in the days, bt actually sucks, but that was because of the nature of the fandom back then.

Stories, take two:

1. The steady: Right now, the war!drabbles.

2. The one you'd still -- to this day, years later -- pick up at a train station in the middle of the night, if she called: Playtime.

3. The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved she doesn't actually live in town: Evitar.

4. The crush fulfilled: Summer Heat.

5. The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Sin.

6. The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets:Um. Can't think of one.
7. The high-school sweetheart: Bad.

8. The alluring stranger whom you flirted with at parties but never got really serious with: Campus: Kodachrome

9. The one you hung out with and had vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you were just good buddies 'cause the friendship was there but the chemistry wasn't: Could It Be Magic

HP fandom:

1. How long you have been in the fandom?
   Well, I remember discussing the damn books and how slashable they were on RareSlash, and then later joining hpslash within a week of its creation, so I'd say some time 1999. There was a fairly large gap in between there, but that was when I first got into the fandom.

2. First fic you ever read?
   Um. I don't know. If you're on hpslash, go to the archives, and check whichever story was the first one posted there. That would be it, most likely.

3. First GOOD fic you ever read?
   That Harry/Ron story of Nat's that I now cannot seem to locate anymore.

4. Favorite fic?
   Possibly Haeddu, which is loverly Harry/Draco war!fic. Mmmm. Also, V's True But Not Nice, which is just breathtaking.

5. Most canon-like fic you've ever read?
   Um. Can I just skip this one?

6. Best wildly AU fic you've ever read?
   While I've never read an actual AU fic in HP, there are several I would actually classify as such since they're SO NOT CANON. <-- Leaving in V's answer, because, yes.

7. Funniest fic you've ever read?
   Silvia's Butter and Pigtails, and also her Double Dare, both of which had me doubled over with helpless giggles and snickers the whole time I read them.

8. First ship?
   Um. Honestly? Once upon a long ago, I was (vaguely) a Harry/Ron girl, for about a month. But I'll still say Harry/Draco, because I was never really that passionate about Harry/Ron.

9. Favorite ship?
   Harry/Draco. Alway has and always will be. Also, Marcus/Oliver, and Marcus/Lee, and Dean/Seamus, and Weasleycest.

10. Guilty pleasure ship?
    ... Marcus/Ginny. (Shut up!)

11. Ship that makes you cringe, then makes you want to read more?
    Marcus/Lee, sort of.

12. Ship that just makes you cringe?
    Harry/Hermione. WTF is up with that?

13. Fandom bandwagons that you refuse to jump on?
    Whenever I say I won't do something I usually end up doing it anyway. <-- Leaving in V's answer again.

14. Fandom bangwagons that you have jumped on?
    In this fandom, I suppose Lumos Nox would qualify. I don't really remember jumping any other bandwagons yet. (I'd like to note, by the way, that H/D is not a bandwagon, at least not for me. I was a H/D girl since way before they were trendy, and I quite resent it when people simply assume that my H/D love is a bandwagon thing. Hrmpf.)

15. How long it took you to jump on the LJ bandwagon?
    I got an LJ before the bandwagon-ness, thank you very much, and that was when I was on break from HP fandom, so. (I seem to be ahead of the bandwagons a lot. Huh.)

    Um. Eleven?

    That Oliver/Marcus, Harry/Draco thing I tentatively titled Parallel(s). An epic story of how love sometimes prospers better under duress that without it.

    The chess!Harry/Draco thing, which is making me bang my head against the wall to make my brain come up with some actual ideas.

    Um. As in OCs or as in according to fanon characterisation? Either way, I have none.

    Draco. Also, Snape, although I've never written him, but I'd like to. Mmm, snark.

    Draco. Also, Ron, especially when I can just pitch the two of them against each other and watch them snark at and insult each other and maybe throw a few punches.

    Um. I think all of them do. Even my parents.

    Um. About half of them, and the other half's just cause I've not bothered to tell them. Dude, my father knows I write gay porn, like I'm gonna be shy about telling anyone else? Ha!

    Ummmmm. Lockheart. Kenneth Branagh (sp?) is brilliant. If I can include an actor that was cut from the movie, Rick Mayall as Peeves. Sigh.

    Ummmm. Um? I have a lot of nitpicks about the movie cast, but no one I really don't like at all. I don't know.

37. Things you should be doing instead of filling out this survey?
    Writing. Or possibly work. Or updating my site. Or, y'know, work. Although I'll probably just go take a smoke break first.
