CC says: "Phelps!"
In more detail:
CC likes Dobby. We both very much agree that Dobby beating his head with the lamp was v. funny indeed.
CC: "Phelps in the car! Fred driving like a maniac!"
Melle: "Ron! I love Ron! I want to marry him and have his little Weasley babies!"
<insert incoherent spluttering about Weasleys and Burrow here, in stereo>
(Percy's bedhead! Molly yelling at repenant!Fred&George&Ron! Also, we liked Molly better than Arthur. Isn't Arthur supposed to be thin? Also, who cares? :D)
Melle says: "Lockheart was so feeling Harry up!"
CC says: "I love the bitterness in Draco's voice when he says the 'The famous Harry Potter' line. Don't know why, but that particular line got hooked in my head."
Melle says: "Stalker!Draco on the balcony at F&B. Um. Yeah. Can I lick him? Please? Just a little?"
CC says: "I agree. Except the licking part. I'm a watcher myself."
CC says: "Lucius. I like. I like very much. Also, the way he just dismisses Draco like that, which implies a certain psychological abuse. The hairdo didn't really bother me much."
Melle says: "Lucius gives me the chills. I like that in a man. Also, ditto re: Lucius and Draco. Loved their relationship in the movie. Also, Lucius? Also hitting on Harry. Poor boy. Dobby hit on him, too."
We liked the flying car scene, but think the time spent on it could have been put to better use on the Ginny&Tom thing. The Whomping Willow, though? Way cool!
When Harry and Ron get chewed out by Snape, CC inquired as to "What got up his ass?" Melle's brain promptly went to the naughty place. CC claims the pun was unintended. Melle doesn't really believe her.
Quidditch practice, we need to watch again, cause CC didn't really pay attention to the beginning of it (was waiting for the Slytherins to arrive), and Melle's brain stopped paying attention as soon as it spotted Marcus. Um.
We wanted to see the slug-barfing scene like in the book, with the Slyterins laughing harder than they did.
Hermione knows too much about the Wizarding world for a Muggleborn. Why was she the one explaining the meaning of Mudblood? (Melle thinks it kind of ruined the effect of the scene.)
Lockheart flirted with his own picture. Melle thinks this is wrong in so many different ways. CC just laughed a lot. Hrmpf.
(We think the Quidditch match was here, but we're not sure.)
What happened to Oliver? He gets hit by a Bludger and his poor broom gets blown to pieces! Did he fall 50ft to the ground? (If so, how'd he recover for the next game?)
CC: "Where the fuck were Fred and George? I had hoped for more Phelps in this scene. (One-track mind? Nooo.) In the book, they're circling Harry, protecting him from the rogue Bludger. Also, after the Quidditch match, when Draco is in the infirmary, bitching and moaning. It's so funny when Pomfrey just dismisses him."
Duelling. "My assistant, Professor Severus Snape." Mr Lockheart, sir, you are playing with your life. If looks could kill ...
(Melle would also like to point out that while watching this scene on the HBO special, she actually spontaneously spotted Marcus. She thinks this probably says something about her, but isn't sure what.)
CC: "Snape. I love to hate him."
Melle: "Snaaaaape. I love him. He's all swishy. He should be in a drag show."
CC: "All right, I agree. Except the drag thing."
They should've had subtitled for the Parseltongue bit. This way, it looked like he was sicking the snake (typo: snape, heh) on Justin.
CC: "Justin was just wrong. He looked too stupid. His face was too long. (Dammit Melle, stop quoting me!) (No?)
CC and Melle both think Oliver was not insistent enough by far that "You can't cancel Quidditch!"
Melle, re: Hagrid's "Follow the spiders" line: "Hagrid is Smooth Like Viktor."
We loved arachnaphobiac!Ron, but both think they should've mentioned why he's afraid of spiders.
CC: "Fred and George! How could you? Turn Ron's teddy bear into a spider! That's so awful!"
We do, however, think that entire scene was very classic comedy, but worked really well. V. funny.
CC: "And the car coming to rescue them! I love that car. I want that car as a pet."
Not much to say about the actual Chamber scenes, except:
CC: "Violent!Ron! Hitting Gilderoy with a rock! What the fuck was that all about?"
We're not, unfortunately, squeeing over Christian Caulson.
We would've loved to see Lucius actually have to touch Harry's filthy sock, like he does in the book. Would've been so funny!
Also. "Avada --"? Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong! Lucius would so not be provoked into using an Unforgivable Curse on a schoolboy. Just, no.
CC liked the bit after the credits. Gilderoy Lockheart in a straightjacket. Heee!
Melle would also like to report that, when trying to refer to Snape and Remus, CC said, not once, but twice, "Rape". Melle hereby declares this "The Cutesy Pairing Name That Should Not Be."
Thank you, and goodnight.
And yes, we will be seeing it again tomorrow. Um. Because we are lame.

Yeah, and how come he showed up at the infirmary to visit Harry then?
CC: "Justin was just wrong. He looked too stupid. His face was too long. (Dammit Melle, stop quoting me!) (No?)
*nods enthusiastically* So very true.

*dies laughing* Ahahahahahha!! Dude! *dies again*
And yes, we will be seeing it again tomorrow. Um. Because we are lame.

Yes! Shouldn't he at least be mourning his broomstick?
