If comments could have moods, mine would be enraged. Because HOLY FUCK, is it so impossible that Lucius actually LIKES HIM and Draco LIKES HIM TOO which is ALL THAT I CAN SEE IN CANON?!?!?! AUGH.

See, I (can) see Lucius as "abusive", but in a subtle way. Not physical, or even really emotional, but I think he's the kind of father who wants his son to be the best, and doesn't always consider what his son wants. I think in a way, Draco, for Lucius, is somewhat of a status symbol, sometimes.

Heh. I know that Jason Isaacs is an internet power-user. He told a bunch of us who met him that he lurked on the various message boards about him and that his girlfriend (now his wife) actually had to get on his case about spending too much time reading about himself so I would bet money he has read fan fic because the man is a geek.
