If you think we went through all that trouble to hurt others, think again. We are and were just stating what we feel and think. That's called a discussion.

If we're misunderstanding you, try finding a better way to bring your point across, then. That's what we keep doing. Again, that's called a discussion.

If you're losing sleep over this, maybe you should follow the advice that one of your friends gave us, and get over it.

And in a related point, it's not like all of this only hurt other people. We were very hurt by things that happened as well. I think that's gotten lost in translation.

Although I don't know that for sure. I'm sorry that you were hurt Ruth. But you left as you did taking your toys and leaving the sandbox. You had very strong opinions about, the list and other things related to it. You have said yourself at the time you felt you could not talk about it which was fine. You keep saying things get lost...I don't agree. In any argument you can find the truth somewhere down the middle.

Just for a note Ruth. I did not say you couldn't express your opinions. I just gave mine as I saw it expressing my pov. I did not attack you personally. That is what you claim you discussions are about right? Yet when I give my opinion...people call me stupid, and say I don't express myself well enough for them to take my opinions? Nice. So why even bother?

I can't control what other people say about you. I tried to take what you said seriously and, as far as I'm concerned, I responded to it seriously.

If you related to my previous entry I just would like to let you know that it has nothing at all to do with you or the events on the mailing list. I wish it was only that, because then I could feel bitchy and all that, but unfortunately my emotions are triggered off by other things that are beyond my control. I should have added a comment about that but I was in no means in the mood for that when I wrote this yesterday. If you didn't mean me, ignore this.

Since you don't want to be specific I'll just assume it was me. This is fun!

I should clear this up...

I lost sleep over it because I allowed myself to be upset by other people and their Opinions. People who claim to be open to "discuss" things, yet when you give them your view or opinion...it is dismissed. Plain and simple. You are as you say...entitled to your opinions..."I" have that same freedom not to take them to heart, and to have my own opinion. Nothing anyone has said has been a good arguement to change my mind about anything. And despite what anyone thinks or feels...I do at least listen *g* even though I'm considered stupid.

I also have nothing to really "get over" as i said...I was happy to consider this over a long time ago. I started out with this as a discussion with ruth, that maybe could have gone somewhere, that changed obviously.

Nothing I can say or do is going to change or modify your opinion of the list. And I finally realized I didn't even want to do that. Our policies are just that. List Policies. You are free to disagree...anyone who is on the list just for the stories and does not agree with the list policies are free to leave if they like, no one is forced to stay.

It's a free world with lots of free decisions...we all need to relax and do what's best for us. That's what I've decided to do...shame I'm being criticized for it.
