Diagnosis: Migraine-related tension headaches. Also something called trapesomething, which basically means the muscles in my shoulders are tense as fuck. Yeah, tell me something I don't know.

Well, at least he prescribed me some painkillers that should help better against the headaches, thus hopefully nixing the vicious ciurcle of "Ow, headache. <tension> Ow, more headache!" He also told me what kind of foods to avoid. Basically, all fermented dairy products. Great. I need to eat dairy, but I hate milk, and now I'm to stay away from cheese, yoghurt and stuff? Just brilliant.

Things to do this weekend:

  • Clean;
  • Groceries;
  • Police re: address change;
  • Pharmacy re: painkillers;
  • Call Linz re: going to the fair orsomething on Saturday evening, if am feeling well enough.

The nutrients gotten from dairy are best obtained from green leafy vegetables and legumes anyway.

Yes, they do contain calcium. Generally more per serving than does milk. :)

Bah. That diet stuff is crap. Well, okay... maybe in some cases it's not... but I've never found 'food triggers' to be at all consistent.. Except caffeine. Please list me as 5 months coffee-less and really not pleased about it :)

Heh. I know red wine, for instance, sets me off like nobody's business (which is not fun, as I much prefer red wine to white wine, so I pretty much stpoped drinking wine altogether. Bleh.)
