Muahahahaha! Have new computer at work. Can finally plug in earphones! Music! Also DVD player, ironically enough same one as at home. Heh. Well, at least i'll be able to watch my DVDs now. Still. Bitches.

Edit: Also! CD-R drive. Am happy as batshit. Can now download shitload of mp3s, burn CD, and free up disk drive. Muah!

Why couldn't you plug in your earphones before? I ask, because I'm sure I used to plug mine in on my computer, but recently, whenever I try, it has no effect whatsoever: the music blares away to the world at large.

Because the plugs were all the way at the back of the computer, and my earphone cables were too short. I only now have a monitor with built-in loudspeakers and earphone plug.
