But yeah, it is sad that people do think those things. Maybe not quite to that extent, though.

Not to this extent, no, but the black clothing/piercings/tatoos/T-Shirts etc, all the clothing related things, that's a biggie. Even here, "authority figures" don't like it when you don't dress "normally" (ie according to somewhat recent fashion).

It reminds me of the time right after Columbine. If outcasts snap because of the way they're treated, then the solution, according to school authorities, was to make them conform, not to teach kids that not everyone should be the same. It's just. Bah. I hate society sometimes.
