On the up side of today, I managed to clean most of my flat, with all the junk now gathered in one corner of the living room so I can spend the next few weeks slowly picking my way through it all. Some of this stuff been in boxes since I moved in, so it's about time.

On the down side, I'm typing this in notepad and will c&p it into the client in a second, because every time I connect, windows closes/crashes. I hear the little sound windows makes when it closes, so it's not quite crashing, but I DIDN'T FREAKING ASK IT TO SHUT DOWN!!!!!

I'm close to a nervous breakdown, here. I know it's the DSL modem software, because if I don't connect, all is well. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software for the modem, I've even tried reinstalling freakin' Windows! If it now crashes again, I will uninstall the modem, uninstall windows, and reinstall both.

If that doesn't help, I swear to god, I'm at the point where I'm willing to lose my entire collection of boyband pictures and just reformat the fucking harddrive.
