Wu?

([personal profile] bubosquared Jan. 29th, 2002 07:29 pm)
Came home to find three things in mailbox: a letter to someone who doesn't live here anymore, an electricity bill (bleh), and a note about a package they'd tried to deliver and failed, for I, of course, am at work on Tuesday mornings. The little line for "specifications" says "Amazon.co.uk".

Am burning with curiousity, as I shan't be able to get it until the day after tomorrow at earliest. (Call post office tomorrow, have the redeliver to work address day after, if I'm lucky).

I'm burning here, people! Argh! Seriously contemplating a way to go pick it up first thing tomorrow morning, and call in late for work. Gah!

Has anything on your wishlist been mysteriously purchased?

An *Nsync book. OKay, at least now I know what it is.

(You think it's Twi?)

(Might be, as I just got one thing from my wishlist from her today, too.)

I think you talked to her more than I did.

(Where are you?)

Re:

I did? I think we exchanged LJ comments a few times, that's it. o_O

Yay, signs of Twi!

I'm thinking of her. Not worrying so much, per se, because she's a survivor, but wishing we had news. Don't well. Grrr.

*needs to know, throws stuf around the room*

Re:

I think the fact that we've not heard from either of them is good news. I mean, if they'd have met, they'd (or at least he'd) likely be back home again, yes? And have computer-access.

Then again, this means he's likely still there looking for hre. (When are the 48 hours up?)

From: [identity profile] ex-anahata825.livejournal.com

Yeah... a friend said to me, in this case, no news is good news. The 48 hours should be up by now - the thing that worried me was that he'd be desperate enough to keep looking for longer than that, so he might be still there. It's aggravating, not knowing. And I'm running out of candles. :P

Blargh.

Weird. I was under the impression that you were talking regularly. As in, chatting and stuff. o_O (But we didn't do more than exchange lj comments now and then either, so. No more of a surprise that you got something than that I did.)

*yawns* I'm tired, damnit, and I'm running on three large cups of coffee already. You doing okay? *grins and offers coffee in case it is needed*

Re:

Overslept. *sleepy grin* I have coffe, I'm okay. I'm working on a stupid graphic thing instead of the work I should be doing, but I'm good. :)

And, huh. I was always under the impression that the swans were a tight-knit bunch.

From: [identity profile] sivan.livejournal.com

Yay you! I'm just sitting here blankly staring at the screen not wanting to get up and go to uni, let alone write papers. Baaah.

And we used to be closer, but we kind of drifted apart and became less so over the past one and a half years or so; the death of first the boards and then the domain itself didn't help either. Apparently, we all still get along really well, though, as certain chats would suggest. *g* So maybe we can work on that tight-knit thing again.

Re:

I know what you mean, it's kinda the same with a lot of the chatgirls (Jess, Ruth, Nette, Mol and me, mostly), but then we kinda stopped going to IRC all the time, and it dwindled. 's one of the reasons I wanted to have the chat-in, because Z and I did go to IRC at times, when there were a bunch of other people, but most people seemed to prefer AIM. No, I think we've all been reminded of the greatness that is IRC. ^____^

Re:

I'm ru!nning out of candles, too.

(Incidentally, I find it rather sad that this whole thing has suddenly drawn the swannic people together. I mean, I like it, but it's oddly sad.)

From: [identity profile] ex-anahata825.livejournal.com

It's true. We all, as Sae said, sort of just drifted. I think even when the site came up and was around for a while we were already sort of apart. We never really talked anymore, except for a few of us that still regularly e-mailed. I don't know. It is sad.

But I guess sometimes it takes something of magnitude to bring us all back together. Our concern for her made us forget all the driftage and just threw us back together because she's one of us, and we're all worried, and there's no one else to talk to about this, so. I'm ecstatic that we're back together, but I know what you mean about it being oddly sad it had to take this to bring us closer again.

*sigh*.

Re:

*nod It feels as if everyone's gathering around this Twi-shaped void.

(And that's my profound statement of the day. :)

I believe she'll be back. I do.
