2001, the good things:

• My girlfriends. Because I love both of them.
• Getting a job, moving into my own apartement, getting my own life going.
• Lola.
• All of you lot, basically. Having all these people to talk to about touchy boylove and other things; cool people with witty things to say.
• That goes especially for katari, amyfortuna, armistice, and kkscatnip.
• jintro, who gets a sentence all to himself. ^_^
• U2 in concert, all four times.
• HP and LotR movies.
• Growing closer to my youngest brother.
• Getting over a lot of the issues with my mother.
• Lunches with dad and my eldest brother.
• Beautiful winter days.
• Running into Linz again.
• My punk- and goth-ification.

2001, the bad things:

• Falling=out with several former friends.
• Assorted fandom wars and kernuffles.
• Having to give up all of my lists, and getting off RareSlash.
• My increased desillusion with all things fandon-related.
• Living on a whole different continent than the vast majority of the people I love and like.
• Lack of slashers nearby.

2002, the resolutions:

• I will finish all my smaller fanfic WIPS and bunnies currently on the list.
• I will wite at least half of The Game.
• I will write the vast majority of the IRA!U2 story. I will friggin' title it.
• I will write at least five more stories in the Strange Love universe.
• I will get up the Shintaid on a weekly shedule of 1,000 words. I will keep up with this shedule.
• I. Will. Try. To. Freaking. DRAW!
• I will learn not to let petty things hurt me so much.
• I will (try to) be more patient.
• I will work towards having a Talk with my mom.

Note absence of "I will stop smoking." Because yes. I don't think I can. Because I suck.

Er, it's a U2 slash story set in an AU where they're IRA fighters. Well, Adam and Bono are. Larry's a pub-holder (is that the word?) who helps them, and Edge is the protestant boy who falls in lovewith Bono.
