Maybe I'll go to the Boekenbeurs tomorrow. I usually take the brother, but. Meh. I just want to go for an hour or two. it's lost its appeal since I stopped reading in Dutch.
No, I really wanted one particular book by Stephen King (Carrie) and couldn't find it at either ABC (American Book Club) or Sterling (which are the only two English book stores inside the 'Boekenbeurs' that I know of) but so I bought that one and two others in Dutch, but I had a good haul at ABC and got me some Seven good ol English books, including the entire, four book Harry Potter series, Barbara Kingsolvers Poisonwood bible, and two Stephen King novels. Sterlings selection on Stephen King was really poor, but you may have broader interests than I do. No reason to stay home though, both stores are in hall 4.
I already have the HP books. :) I generally prefer ordering over the internet, becuase my interests are more in the SF/fantasy and holebi area. I like Stephen King, but well. I don't think it's worth it to spend 200 BEF on entrance fees. Especially since I'd have to go on a Saturday, and I hate crowds. :/
