(They often play "oldies" during the daytime and at night. And they play lots of techno (which I don't like in general, but lots of people do and MTV hardly plays any of it) and other non-top-40 music.)

what you do about this wonderful event of oldies during the daytime [when you must work]... get an 8 hour tape, TAPE IT, and when you get home watch that ^^

hee! Yesterday on MMM's Retro Request [3-4 pm, so I watch right when I get home] they played New Year's Day. 1983!Bono amuses me greatly.
