when I used to sell Foreign rights for an adult (adult as in books published for adults, not porn - I differentiate becuase now I work mostly with kids books) publisher, I loved meeting with their editors and submitting stuff to them. They're great folks and have some terrific books. I liked working with Virgin Publishing too. And Women's Press. The small specialized publishers were lots of fun and very focussed.
