So to celebrate my two-year “anniversary” with my Mooncup, I went and bought Lunapads yesterday. First impression: “OMG these things are soft!” And I'm pleasantly surprised at how thin they are; I was expecting much thicker from the reviews, but then I realised those people are probably comparing to Always-type pads, rather than the ticker ones I usually wear (because the ultra thin ones are expensive, damn). I'll have to wait until next cycle to see how they hold up at night during the first three days, but I'm going cup-less now to at least get an idea. I do like them lots so far, especially since they even fit over my short-like knickers, despite my fear that it wouldn't and I'd have to wear “normal” ones during my period. Go Lunapads, woo!
