Thanks to the wonderful elance, my flat is clean, I'm no longer stressing about my landlady bringing the gas safety people in tomorrow/Thursday, and I'll be properly rested and able to deal with the banmk situation tomorrow, and be able to write a bit.

So I was put on the French line a few days ago, a process that was fraught with danger and confusion, as apparently they very rarely have to add someone to a language skill set after they'vebeen here for several years, as very few people magically learn another language in two years. Heh.

But it's been going a lot better than I thought, people are nice about my stumbling over words, and if nothing else, it's good practice. Go me!

It's been quiet and a bit boring otherwise, so I've been amusing myself by inserting the phrase “In accordance with the prophecy” into call logging notes. I've been doing this since Monday. Let's see how long until someone catches on …
