It's a goddamned epidemic now:

Melle: Is that P for Papa?
Customer: No, T for Tea.

Granted, from context I knew what she meant, but ... how is that in any way an appropriate way to spell something? I kow most people who don't work in the call centre industry don't have the phonetic alphabet burnt into their brain like I do, but geez. Also, my hatred of the sales team is now international. Lack of preparation on your part still does not constitute an emergency on mine, dammit, so next time perhaps you want to ask us to send you stuff a little sooner than the day before you need it. You twat. And while I'm being semi-irrationally angry, the women who, when I ask for their name and address, give me their husband's name, sometimes going as far as "Mrs [Husband'sFirstName] [LastName]," are going to make me develop a nervous twitch. Gah!

[ETA] Also, for the record? Calling me "young lady" is not the way to get me to go above and beyond the call of duty for you. Take your condescending arse somewhere else, you twat.[/ETA]

In other job-related news, I've been vaguely looking at job listings these past few days. )

Looks like April is the month of expenses. I owe my mum money, and I need to buy a new HD for my iPod, and it looks like it'll either be that or go to London end of the month, and I'm sorry, London people, but it's going to be the former. Sigh. I'll reschedule the London trip once I've saved up a bunch of money again, but for now, I've just too much I need to save for--paying back mum, the iPod, computer stuff, plane ticket home in August, expenses for Connotations in October, Christmas-related expenses, and of course Escapade next year. Also, possibly, going hiking in the Highlands with my brothers, in case a minor miracle occurs and we manage to get our shit together about that. Ahem.
