(no subject)

Today, Alex, I'm going to be Cranky McSnarlyPants. Just, um, to give you all a heads-up. Anything you hear from me today is likely to be either grumpy or excessively punchy. Or, you know, just plain whingy.

I suspect I may not have enough yellow/gold yarn to make a second PS/CoS-style Gryffindor scarf, and I don't know that they had enough of this colour left at the shop. Hey, weetniet, would you prefer the PS/CoS-style scarf (with alternating panels of scarlet and gold) or the PoA style (the one with the "trapped bars" like here? Though then there's the potential problem that I could run out of red. Argh.

After which I'm making a cabled hat which should knit up in a day or so, unless I prove myself to be particularily inept at cabling. Hey Amy, measure your head for me, will you?
