*bleary-eyed stare* What is this "morning" of which you speak?

Move went all right, thank god. We got everything moved from the old place and from storage on Friday, mum managed to not actually hit anything, and I managed to not have a heart attack or get us lost too far. Mum's not used to driving on the left side of the road, or with a UK car, so there were some problems, we hit the curba few times, I squeaked "CAR!" and "PEDESTRIAN!" and covered my eyes a lot, and once the van brushed so close to a (parked) truck that the side mirror clicked back. But we made it in one piece eventually, and that's what counts.

Everything important is unpacked and cleaned and whatnot, except the clothes I need to either unpack or re-pack properly into the vaccuum bags so I can stuff them in my suitcase and save space, a few boxes of stuff I need to sort before I can store them properly, and my books, which I can't unpack until I have book shelves I have an assload of books!). I can actually have people over! (Yes, [livejournal.com profile] elance and [livejournal.com profile] wibbble, that was an invitation. :D)

I even have some manner of TV, albeit with an indoors antenna for now and only ITV, but still. (Actually,I currently have two TVs. Ahem.)

And now, I'm off to try and catch up with e-mail and LJ and the itnernet at large, even though my connection is currently incredibly fucking slow argh.

(Also, PSA: If you have a nipple piercing, beware of static electricity. Owie. That hurt!)

So at my new place, there's a Telewest box thing against the wall, which means I could get Telewest, or I could transfer my BT line and stay with BT+Freedom2Surf, if that's even possible. Telewest currently have a promo on where you get their "starter package" for cable TV, telephone, and broadband, for £30/month. I'm considering going with that, but I'm not sure if Telewest (Blueyonder) are actually any good as far as ISPs go, and the numbers they quote mean little to nothing to me, so. Um. Help? Advise?

(Hm, on further investigation, I can get the starter package including a phone line for £15/month, and then I can stay with F2S, which I'd prefer. At least I think I can put another ISPs broadband connection onto a Telewest line. Must investigate further. Advise still welcome!)
