• There is a "Baby Sitters Club" [sic] category. It contains 152 stories.
• There's apparently a Talisman/Dark Tower crossover. I'll just be over here steering clear of that, shall i?
• Um. Marten/Roland slash? *scrubs brain* (... *peeks*)
• Dot dot dot? Well, it's Talisman slash, Jim, but not as I'd like it.
• This doesn't seem too bad, though.
• Why are there 49 stories in the Minesweeper category? Fandom is doomed, I tell you.
• Cedric/Lee WTF?

Before I get down to the business of the day, I have a couple of things to say about the recent FBI-meets-fandom thing, ( behind this here cut. )

*deep breath* Okay, I'm better now. My faith in humanity has been momentarily restored by the guy who asked us to send his refund to a good cause, rather than to himself. I want to send that guy chocolates.

Okay, my coworker needs to come back from break so I can go on mine. LIke, NOW, because he's already two minutes late (and left three minutes early).

Still pondering my costume for tomorrow. I need to drop by a costume shop this afternoon and see if they have either vampire teeth or something with which I can fasten mine, or maybe a witch hat (I could get some flashy scarves and fake glasses and go as Trelawney, hee!) or something.

Okay, my webmail can start workingn properly any time now ...

I'm feeling a bit bunmmed that I;ve not been able to feel the pre-NaNo excitement I felt in the past. I normally spend a whole month agonising and plotting and planning and now it's three days before November and I've barely decided on what I want to do at all. Not to mention the ficathon story I've to do before the 30th, or the script I've to provide ruby_fruit with lest she eat my brain, or other vital parts of my anatomy.

I'm kinda waiting for the panic to hit, so I've made a Plan. Tonight I clean my flat and order groceries, tomorrow I have the pre-NaNo meeting (yay!) and preparing my study for November, Saturday is time to write the ficathon story and E&S, and Sunday is plotting time. I've got the first off, thank god, as well as the 11th and 12th.

All of which is my longwinded way of saying, if I semi-disappear for a month, don't worry, I'll be back in December. :D

Okay, quick poll. I found a way to securely fasten my fangs, so I'm going as a vampiress. I'll be wearing my long black gothy dress, and my make-up will consist of white foundation and powder, black eyeshadow and eyeliner, and mascara, of course. So, two questions: black lipstick, or the dark, almost black, purple one? And red nailvarnish, or just black?
