Dammit, why am I looking at Macs? Whyyyyy? GET THEE BEHIND ME, APPLE!

(But oooohshiny and sleek and they offer a serious educational discount
which I'll qualify for if I enrol in uni in September and by that time the
mysterious new iMac will be out and I could get that and turn my old piece
of shite into a file server or somesuch.)

I've considered Apple in the past, but I tend to be too stuck in my ways to
change over, and Macs were always more expensive than PCs. Now, however, I
already have a bunch of Apple stuff (the iPod, the AlphaSmart, which isn't
Apple but is based on Apple tech) and with the educational discount it could
actually save me a lot of money. We'll see what I feel like come September.
