Happy holidays, everyone. :) I was going to say something here about peace on earth, but then I looked at the news. (And this more than anything is why I really need Midnight Mass on Christmas--I need to be reminded at least once a year why I believe, to know that some people really at least mostly good and friendly and loving.)

Anyway, Christmas loot:

  • Main present, still en route from Amazon: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, which I once mentioned in casual conversation with my dad I'd thought about buying but decided against because it was too expensive. I love it when my parents pull shit like that. *grin*
  • Cool multi-coloured arm warmers, which will be a nicechange from my black ones.
  • Two make-up bag thingies (which I have in abundance and never use, butnever mind that), one in the fugliest green you've ever seen (not complaining, here, btw, I love stuff like that) and one in shiny, classy silver. Ooooh!
  • A gift voucher for CDs and stuff.
  • Floating candle type thingies that work with cooking oil (socool!).
  • Money to put towards my Alphasmart, which is now definitely my "Present For Myself To Buy With B-Day/Christmas/New Year's Money".

Also, from [livejournal.com profile] rsadelle, the Nightrunner trilogy, as well as an entry (well, part of an entry, but never mind that) that made me tear up. Thank you so, so much. And for once, I will try not to crawl under my rock when the spotlight hits me. <g>

Drabbles and cards to come ... soon. Posted/sent before New Year's, I promise.

ETA, because I keep forgetting to mention this: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] flabbergast and [livejournal.com profile] dine for the Christmas cards, and to [livejournal.com profile] rockygrrl for the Christmas Card + All-Purpose Christmas Smut (heee!).
