Hear ye, hear ye

The next person who uses that inane "Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics" quote where I can see it may just find themselves with my boot up their ass. (Their own boot if they use it to butt into an argument that otherwise completely doesn't concern them.) It's offensive, stupid, and for fuck's sake, people, if a discussion is worth having, it's worth having online. The medium does not define the worthiness of the communication.
